With his Gymnastics Clubs Australia CEO hat on, Ross Gage is delighted to report that GCA’s national congresses have got off to a tremendous start. The first was held in Melbourne, during February 2022 (the postponed 2021 event), then later that year during July in Darwin; with the latest just concluded at Tweed Heads.
Core components have been two days of conferencing, the Awards Gala, a Masterclass, an ‘Insights Tour’ via bus on club venues, and various networking socials. A feature has been the world-class presenters, including Bruce Sullivan, Katrina McCarter, Mandy Johnson, Liam Mayo, and the USA’s Lynn Ledford, Jeff Metzger and Frank Sahlein.
Each event saw growth in registrations, sponsors and exhibitors.
